Oasis Interlude+ Rune System: Player Guide
What Are Runes?
Runes are powerful upgrade stones that can be inserted into your weapon to grant significant stat bonuses. They are a core part of endgame progression and customization on the Oasis Interlude+ server.
How to Obtain Runes
Runes are droppable loot from monsters starting at level 70.
Drop Rates:
Lv. 70–75 monsters: 1% chance to drop a Sealed Rune - Stage 1
Lv. 76–79 monsters: 2% chance
Lv. 80+ monsters: 3% chance
What drops: Monsters drop Sealed Rune - Stage 1. When opened, you receive a random named rune (Sigel, Tyrr, Othell, Yul, Feoh, Iss, Wynn, Aeore) at Stage 1.

Upgrading Runes: Stages 1–7
Upgrade at any major town Blacksmith.
You need two runes of the same name and stage (e.g., two Othell’s Rune - Stage 1).
Upgrade chance: 50% (gamble).
Success: You get the next stage rune (e.g., Stage 2).
Failure: You lose one rune, but there’s a slight chance to get your current stage rune back.
Repeat this process up to Stage 7.

Upgrading Runes: Stages 8–13
Upgrade is 100% guaranteed (no gamble).
Requirements:
The rune to upgrade (e.g., Othell’s Rune - Stage 7)
Gemstone S (amount increases with stage)
Adena: 30–50 million per upgrade (amount increases with stage)
Result: You get the next stage rune (e.g., Stage 8, 9, ... up to 13).

Super Runes (Stage 8–13 Super)
Super runes are special versions of runes, available from Stage 8 to Stage 13.
How to obtain: After reaching Stage 8+, you can gamble for a Super Rune of the same type.
Chance: 60% per attempt.
Cost: Additional Gemstone S per attempt.
Stats: Super runes provide the same bonuses as regular runes of the same stage, but are required for further upgrades and may be used in special recipes or events.

Special Runes: Anakim & Lilith
Anakim and Lilith runes are unique runes that drop from specific high-level raid bosses (Anakim and Lilith, Galaxia and more).
Slotting: These runes can be inserted into a second rune slot on your weapon (separate from the main named rune slot).
Bonuses: Anakim and Lilith runes provide unique, powerful effects (check in-game or server info for exact stats).
You can only slot one named rune and one Anakim/Lilith rune at a time.

Rune Extraction
You can extract a rune from your weapon at any time.
Cost: Extraction requires Adena and Gemstone S.
Note: Extracted runes can be reused or sold.
How to Play with Runes: Step-by-Step
Hunt monsters Lv. 70+ to farm Sealed Rune - Stage 1.
Open Sealed Runes to get a random named rune.
Collect duplicates of the same rune type and stage.
Upgrade runes at a Blacksmith:

After Stage 8: Gamble for a Super Rune (60% chance, costs extra Gemstone S).
Slot your best rune into your weapon for powerful bonuses.
Hunt for Anakim/Lilith Runes defeating high-level raid bosses for a chance at their unique runes, and slot them into your second rune slot.
Extract runes if you want to change or sell them (for a fee).
Tips & Strategy
Farm in higher-level zones for better rune drop rates.
Save up Gemstone S and Adena for high-stage upgrades.
Gamble wisely: Early upgrades are risky; consider saving runes for guaranteed upgrades at higher stages.
Super runes are valuable for further upgrades and trading.
Anakim/Lilith runes are rare and highly sought after—join raid groups for a chance to obtain them.
Always check the market: Some runes may be more valuable than others depending on class demand.
