Level Difference Penalties

  • No XP/SP Cutoff: By default, there is no absolute level difference cutoff
  • Penalty Threshold: XP/SP penalties start when level difference exceeds 5 levels
  • Penalty Formula: XP/SP is reduced by the formula: 0.83^(level_diff - 5)
  • 6 level difference: 83% XP/SP
  • 7 level difference: 69% XP/SP
  • 8 level difference: 57% XP/SP
  • 9 level difference: 47% XP/SP
  • 10 level difference: 39% XP/SP

Party Experience Distribution

Party Size Bonuses

  • 2 members: 30% bonus (1.30x)
  • 3 members: 39% bonus (1.39x)
  • 4 members: 50% bonus (1.50x)
  • 5 members: 54% bonus (1.54x)
  • 6 members: 58% bonus (1.58x)
  • 7 members: 63% bonus (1.63x)

Party Distribution Rules

  • Range: Party members must be within 1,500 units to receive XP/SP
  • Level Limit: Maximum level difference for XP/SP distribution is 14 levels
  • Party Penalty: Additional penalties apply when level difference is between 10-14 levels:
  • 10-14 level difference: 30% penalty (0.3x multiplier)
  • Beyond 14 levels: No XP/SP distribution

XP Distribution Formula

Party XP is distributed based on:

  1. Base XP × Party Bonus Multiplier × Level Penalty Modifier
  2. Individual Share = (Total XP × Player Level) ÷ Sum of All Party Member Levels
  3. Final XP = Individual Share × Penalty Modifier

Experience Loss on Death

  • Level 10+: 8% XP loss
  • Level 40+: 4% XP loss
  • Level 76+: 2% XP loss
  • Level 78+: 1.5% XP loss
  • Level 79+: 1% XP loss

Death Penalty System

  • C5 Death Penalty: Enabled
  • Karma Penalty: Additional XP loss for PK players
  • Festival/Siege: Reduced XP loss (25% of normal)
