Belt Exchange System - Player Guide

Overview

The Belt Master in Rune offers a progressive belt exchange system where you can purchase and upgrade magical belts that enhance your character's capabilities. This system allows you to start with a basic belt and progressively upgrade it through multiple tiers.

• NPC: Belt Master (Equipment Exchange)
• Location: Rune
• Coordinates: Near the main area

How It Works

Step 1: Purchase Your First Belt

• Talk to the Belt Master and click "Purchase Basic Belt"
• This gives you your starting belt with basic bonuses

Step 2: Upgrade Your Belts

• Click "Upgrade Belts" to access the progressive upgrade system
• Each upgrade requires your current belt plus additional materials
• Important: Your enchantment levels are preserved during upgrades!

Important Notes

Enchantment Preservation

• Your enchantment levels are preserved during upgrades!
• If you have a +3 Belt and upgrade it to a Rag Belt, you'll get a +3 Rag Belt
• This means you can enchant early and keep your enhancements through all upgrades

Strategy Tips

1. Enchant Early: Consider enchanting your belt at any stage since levels are preserved
2. Plan Ahead: Gather all materials before starting upgrades
3. One-Way System: This is a one-way exchange - make sure you're ready before upgrading
4. Progressive Difficulty: Higher grades require more valuable materials

Where to Find Materials

• Festival Adena: Participate in festival events
• Crafting Materials: Farm from monsters or purchase from other players
• Gemstones: Obtain from various game activities and events
• Steel & Coal: Available through crafting and monster drops

Future Updates

Additional belt upgrades and new belt options will be introduced in future game updates, expanding the progression system even further with clips and passive skills.
