Oasis Interlude+ Manor System - Player Guide

What is the Manor System?

The Manor System is a farming economy where castle lords manage agricultural production in their territories. As a player, you can participate as a farmer by growing crops and selling them to castles for rewards.

Castle Ownership and Manor System

Who Can Use Manor System

  • Castle Lords - Clan leaders who own castles can manage manor settings
  • All Players - Anyone can participate as farmers regardless of clan status
  • Castle Members - Clan members get no special manor privileges (unlike other castle features)

Castle Requirements

  • Must Own a Castle - Only castle-owning clans can operate manors
  • Clan Leader Access - Only the clan leader can manage manor settings
  • Sufficient Treasury - Castle must have enough adena to fund daily operations

Tax System and Manor Connection

How Taxes Affect Manor

  • Tax Revenue - Castle taxes help fund manor operations
  • Daily Costs - Manor requires adena from castle treasury every day at 6:00 AM
  • Tax Settings - Castle lords can adjust tax rates to support manor funding

Tax Rate Limits

  • Minimum Tax: 0%
  • Maximum Tax: 15% (normal), 5% (Dawn faction), 25% (Dusk faction)
  • Seven Signs Influence - Faction control affects maximum tax rates

Tax and Manor Funding

  • Higher Taxes = More adena for manor operations
  • Lower Taxes = Less adena, may cause manor shutdown
  • Balancing Act - Castle lords must balance tax rates with manor needs

The Manor System creates a complex economic relationship between castle lords and farmers. Castle lords must balance tax rates to fund manor operations while keeping players happy, while farmers benefit from well-funded manors with competitive prices. Success comes from understanding this economic balance and working within the daily cycle of the manor system!
