Oasis Interlude+: A Month in Review

Hey Oasis adventurers! What an incredible first month since our full launch! As your admin and dev, I’m beyond excited to share this update with you, the heart and soul of our server. Let’s dive into the highlights of our journey so far.

A massive thank you to every player for joining us on Oasis. Your time exploring, teaming up, and slaying mobs has brought this world to life. Whether you’re a seasoned warrior or a fresh face, you’re making Oasis the vibrant community it is.

The server launch was a roaring success, far exceeding my hopes as an admin. You all jumped in with enthusiasm, forming groups and tackling challenges, making it clear that Oasis is delivering that classic Interlude vibe with our special twist.

During the beta and this first month of live play, I’ve learned a ton as both dev and admin. From fine-tuning gameplay to understanding what keeps you hooked, these lessons are shaping our path forward, and I’m thrilled to keep improving the server.

We’re all in on making Oasis even better. Expect regular patches to smooth out issues, fixes for any bugs, and exciting new content to keep your adventures fresh. This is just the start, and we’re committed to growing with you.

A huge shoutout to our clan leaders – @Sobieski, @Mati, @Tommi, and @Panzerfaust – for pouring their hearts into running epic in-game communities. You’re the glue holding our clans together, organizing raids and helping players thrive.

Since launch, we’ve tackled nearly 200 tickets, with 95% resolved – a big win! To keep things organized, please use the Discord ticket system for issues or suggestions. I’ve been swamped with private messages, so I’ll only chat one-on-one with clan leaders or in very specific cases. For general server topics, tickets are the way to go. Pro tip: include details like what you expect from a feature, examples, or reasons for changes – it helps us act faster and better.

On security, we faced two breach attempts, one successful early on. Recently, another try was stopped cold. Your accounts and data are safe, and I’ve beefed up protections significantly since the first incident. I’m constantly working to keep the server secure, so you can focus on the fun.

Looking ahead, our roadmap is still guiding us (https://wiki.oasis-interlude.com/news/roadmap). I’m working on the first wave of talismans and jewels, focusing on defense boosts, plus weekly group challenges for cool rewards. These will evolve with your progress, adding stronger versions over time. Upgraded epic jewelry is also coming, tied to team play – so keep farming those standard Interlude epics to stock up.

Not on the roadmap yet: we’re planning new epic boss fights from later chronicles, like Helios, Fafurion, and Livindor. These bosses will spawn in unique zones and tie into your gear progression. Plus, we’re sketching out party farm zones to make group play even more rewarding.

For your grinding plans, Festival Adena, Ancient Adena, and materials will stay relevant in all new content, so keep farming them. Also, PvP stats might become a requirement for certain group events, so embrace PvP as a key endgame activity to push your character further.
